The penalty for not wearing a mask has been increased from Rs 200 to Rs 1,000 in urban areas, and to Rs 500 in rural areas across the state, medical education minister K Sudhakar said on Wednesday. The minister urging people to strictly follow Covid safety rules, including social distancing norms.
